CPD Advisory Board Member Participates in Cultural Diplomacy Forum

CPD Advisory Board Member Simon Mainwaring will participate in a public forum themed "In the Age of Global Civilization: There is No 'Us or Them'" May 27. Sponsored by the Levantine Cultural Center, the public forum will focus on "How Cultural Diplomacy Can Bridge the United States and the Middle East."

Mainwaring and other speakers, including Farah Pandith, Special Representative to Muslim Communities, U.S. Department of State, will discuss ways that film and other media can bind together people of diverse and sometimes conflicting cultures and beliefs.

The event will be held at the Mark Taper Auditorium at the Los Angeles Central Library in downtown L.A. The panel is scheduled to begin at 6:45 p.m. Click here for event and reservation details.
