Apply Now to USC's Master of Public Diplomacy Program

Applications are currently being accepted for USC's acclaimed Master of Public Diplomacy program now through January 15, 2018. The program, which is offered in partnership with the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and the USC School of International Relations, prepares students for the global workforce through a combination of academic research and field experience.

Students in the MPD program are also an integral part of the USC Center on Public Diplomacy (CPD)'s work. CPD is committed to fostering the growth of future leaders by offering a robust student internship program and partners with numerous organizations to bring public diplomacy experts to campus to speak to students, faculty, and professionals in the field.

Other ways that CPD supports the MPD student experience include:

  • PD Magazine - the student-run semi-annual publication produced by the USC Association of Public Diplomacy Scholars (APDS) is published with the support of the USC Center on Public Diplomacy and the USC Dornsife School of International Relations;
  • Summer Associates Program - In 2017, CPD launched the Summer Associates program to assist select MPD students in internship placement
  • APDS Annual Conference - financial and in-kind support is provided by CPD to mount these thematic student-run conferences;
  • CPD Best Student Paper Prize - this prize recognizes and publicizes an outstanding contribution to the field by a graduate student in the MPD program.
