CPD Board Member Joins UN High-Level Panel on Digital Cooperation

CPD is pleased to announce that CPD Advisory Board member Fadi Chehadé was recently appointed by the United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres to serve on a High-Level Panel on Digital Cooperation. This newly formed panel was convened to advance proposals to strengthen cooperation in the digital space among governments, the private sector, civil society, international organizations, technical and academic communities, and other relevant stakeholders.

The Panel is expected to raise awareness about the transformative impact of digital technologies across society and the economy, and to contribute to the broader public debate on how to ensure a safe and inclusive digital future for all, taking into account relevant human rights norms. Chehadé is one of 20 independent experts serving on the Panel.
