Cultural Diplomacy Talk with Giles Scott-Smith:
"Mapping the Undefinable: Exchange Programmes as a Topic for Political Analysis"

Public Diplomacy Professor Nick Cull and respondent Professor Eytan Gilboa joined Giles Scott-Smith in discussing the cultural diplomacy at the Center on Public Diplomacy.

Giles Scott-Smith is a post-doctoral researcher at the Roosevelt Study Center in Middelburg, Netherlands. His research interests cover the “cultural Cold War” and the importance of public diplomacy within NATO and for transatlantic relations. He is the author of The Politics of Apolitical Culture (Routledge 2001) and co-editor of The Cultural Cold War in Western Europe, 1945-60 (Fran Cass 2004).
