CPD Contributing Research Intern

Description

This position will assist CPD Research Fellow, Mafalda Dâmaso is Lecturer in the Department of Culture, Media and Creative Industries of King’s College London and in the Economic and Social Sciences Department of the Institut Catholique de Paris. Dâmaso's CPD research project, "Implementing the EU Strategy for International Cultural Relations – Towards a New Paradigm," will seek to address the gap of practicalities surrounding the implementation of EU’s Strategy for International Cultural Relations.  Start date is ASAP (flexible). Research work expected through December 2020. Please apply by May 4, 2020.

Terms and Duration

5 hrs/week maximum

This is a volunteer position, but your name and contribution will be referred to throughout the project

Requirements

  • Current USC graduate student status
  • Excellent conceptual and empirical research capability, writing and communications skills (in English)
  • Reliable and professional work ethic
  • Self-starter motivated to work independently and be regularly available for consultation with CPD staff and USC CPD Research Fellows
  • Strong interest in research topic at hand
  • Experience with qualitative research methodology, networking and interviews
  • Experience and literacy using social media platforms
  • Experience performing systemic literature review
