You're reading: Security Service terminates Russian propaganda center activities in Kyiv

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has terminated the activities of the Russian organization Gorchakov Fund for Support of Public Diplomacy, which was conducting open, anti-Ukrainian propaganda among Ukrainian students, an adviser to the SBU chief, Markiyan Lubkivsky, has said.

“The information center started its work in August of 2013. Under the guise of developing and strengthening educational, business, and cultural ties between Russia and Ukraine, representatives of the center were holding anti-Ukrainian activities among university students,” he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Feb. 2.
