Kidnapped by Pirates: An Insider's View

This month, CPD welcomed journalist Michael Scott Moore to discuss his book, The Desert and the Sea: 977 Days Captive on the Somali Pirate Coast.

The event, Rethinking Somali Pirates and Global Affairsfeatured a roundtable talk with Moore, who reflected on his experience in captivity and contextualized Somali piracy in the world today.
