Shanghai Consensus on City Diplomacy
The 3rd International Forum on Public Diplomacy was held in Shanghai from October 30 to November 1, 2014. The Forum is an annual event co-organized by The Charhar Institute of China, the Clingendael Institute of the Netherlands, the Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations of Germany and the Robert Bosch Stiftung.
The Forum’s theme was “Practice and Exploration of City Diplomacy: Dialogue between China and Europe,” which addressed the practical experiences and theoretical issues of city diplomacy. The result of this event was the Shanghai Consensus, which you can read here.
