The second China-Mongolia Expo and High Level Forum on China-Mongolia-Russia Cooperation kicked off in Hohhot, capital of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, on September 26, 2017. Under the theme "Construct the China-Mongolia-Russia (CMR) Economic Corridor, embrace global win-win cooperation," this biennial event serves as an important platform and provides a new possibility of international exchange between China and its neighboring countries.

According to Chinese vice Premier Zhang Gaoli, the media has a crucial role to play in ensuring that people all over the world understand what Belt and Road initiative is all about. [...] The NPC official, just like the vice premier, however admitted that a lot needs to be done to get more people to understand what the concept stands for. In his opinion, the “project of the century” as is being referred to, seeks to only build a community of shared future and prosperity for all.

 

Launched by Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development as part of the Belt and Road Initiative, the global marketing campaign of "Imperial Ambassador" aims to promote Beijing's global tourism image and establish its reputation in the travel and tourism industry, and is a fresh attempt to transform the city into an "international exchange hub".

On June 9, at Rike Park, diplomats celebrated the 25th anniversary of Georgian-Chinese bilateral relations. It was organized by international media holding GBTIMES Georgia and the Chinese Embassy in Georgia, and supported by Tbilisi City Hall. All day long visitors at Rike Park had the opportunity to see and purchase Chines goods, as well as attend master-classes of traditional martial arts, sample Chinese dishes, see Chinese costumes, as well as shows, exhibitions and concerts.

British chancellor Philip Hammond has called for closer economic ties with China as Britain enters a new post-Brexit era. As early as in 2015 when Chinese President Xi Jin-ping made his first state visit to the United Kingdom, which ushered a “golden age” to bilateral relations, the two great powers declared their consensus in working together with all Belt and Road project partners. [...] China and Britain need to use Xi’s proposed Belt and Road Initiative to raise awareness of the mutual benefits and overall exchanges of people to people of the two countries.
