The extensive cultural program that took place in 11 cities and in collaboration with 44 institutions reached nearly 800,000 people and was mentioned as one of 2014's most-discussed programs in Turkish media.

Some 2,200 Polish and British troops are taking part in joint tactical training this month that is part of NATO's reaction to the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.  

During the meeting in the Iranian capital today, Head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization Abuzar Ebrahimi Torkman and Polish Deputy Culture Minister Monica Smullen explored avenues for reinvigorating and bolstering mutual cooperation in different cultural areas.

Poland is one of the strongest supporters of Israel in the European Union and this is much appreciated in Tel Aviv.  I believe an important role can be played by the Museum of Polish Jews in Warsaw, whose permanent exhibition is to open at the end of October 2014.

Twenty-five years ago the Berlin Wall fell, and most Central European states went on to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the European Union (EU). Now that we are addressing urgent challenges in the Middle East, Ukraine, Africa, and Asia, shouldn’t U.S. public diplomacy efforts be transferred from Central Europe to these hotspots?
