Samuel Wands is a Master of Public Policy candidate in the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, in the Class of 2021. In 2019, he received his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and in French with Honors from the USC Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences.
In his academic career, Sam has interned at the Institute for European Studies in Brussels, Belgium, focusing on media and information literacy programs to combat extremism and disinformation, and studied abroad at Sciences Po in Paris, France. Sam is serving as the treasurer for the Homeland Security Student Organization and is a Price Student Ambassador. He has also contributed to research for the Near Crisis Project in the School of International Relations. Throughout his studies, Sam has primarily focused on postcolonial relationships, especially between Europe and North Africa.
