The USC Center on Public Diplomacy, in partnership with the USC Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership & Policy and the Public Diplomacy Council, was pleased to present a discussion of "The Last Three Feet," current field practices in cultural and education exchanges and public diplomacy.

Speakers included William Kiehl, editor of "The Last Three Feet: Case Studies in Public Diplomacy," to be published this fall; Beatrice Camp of the Smithsonian Institution, formerly U.S. Consul-General, Shanghai; and Jean E. Manes, Staff Director for Resources, U.S. Department of State.
