On Thursday, December 9th, newly elected Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau greeted Syrian refugees at Toronto Pearson International Airport. This video shows the Prime Minister at the airport, welcoming refugees to Canada, where they will become full citizens. Canada is set to welcome 25,000 Syrian refugees. Videos of Trudeau's warm welcome went viral in the U.S., where anti-refugee rhetoric has increased in the wake of the ISIS-related killings in Paris and Presidential candidate Donald Trump's proposed ban on Muslims entering the U.S.
