“Al Jazeera at 15 Years” conference includes CPD Director, Philip Seib

CPD Director Philip Seib will discuss the implications of Al Jazeera for public diplomacy as part of the conference held in Doha, Qatar October 31- November 1, 2011.

The conference, co-sponsored by the Al Jazeera Centre for Studies in collaboration with CPD, will engage experts in a discussion about the influence of Al Jazeera, including critical assessment of its coverage of local and world affairs, and the future of the network in the long and short term. The two-day conference may be accessed on aljazeera.net beginning 11 p.m. PST Sunday evening, October 30. Seib is also scheduled to appear on the Al Jazeera program "In Depth” at 11 a.m. PST (9 p.m. in Doha) on Monday, October 31st.
