CPD University Fellow Ernest J. Wilson, III cited in Shanghai Daily.com

CPD University Fellow Ernest J. Wilson, III was cited in the online edition of a Shanghai Daily.com article encouraging China to increase its investment in public diplomacy to build trust and understanding with people from other nations.

Wilson, who is the Walter Annenberg Chair in Communication and Dean of the USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism, goes on to say, “China's public diplomacy has so far failed to catch up to that of Western countries.”

While public diplomacy is a relatively new discipline and profession, Dean Wilson observes that, “ it has become more valuable as countries become more interconnected.” To read the article, click here or here.
