CPD Assistant Director, Naomi Leight on Israel & Media Panel

On March 28th, Naomi Leight, CPD Assistant Director for Research and Publications, spoke on a panel titled “Strangers No More: Israel, Media and the World” following the screening of the 2011 Oscar-winning documentary, Strangers No More.

The panel, organized by BINA LA was chaired by screenwriter Daniel Housman, and focused on how the Israeli film industry, as well as other soft power tools, can contribute to Israel's public diplomacy strategies and to help shape Israel’s image in the world. Other panelists included Lior Sasson, Israeli Cultural Attaché to Los Angeles and Noa Tishby, Israeli actress and producer.
